in 4 years, we don't have a crib in our house. Beckett has officially moved on to a big boy bed.
His transition began a few weeks ago when he started leaping from his crib after bedtime. Sometimes he would sneak into Cooper's room and climb into his bed. This is what I would find when I would go to their rooms to check on them.
Cute, but it was hard to haul Beckett out of the top bunk of Cooper's bed every night.
Other times, I would catch Becks in the hallway before he could make it to Cooper's bed.
That led to a lot of sneaky army crawling through the hallway - on a mission to Cooper's room. Frankly, a lot of times he actually managed to pull it off too.
And then came the day that we decided we HAD to get a big boy bed. It was an evening that he heard me coming up the stairs while he was on his way to Coop's room, and as he scampered back to his room, I got a glimpse of how he actually managed to get back into his crib. It involved a flip over the rail that looked like something only a master gymnast should attempt. I think I actually said (sounding a lot like my own mom) "he's going to break his neck."
We brought this home the next day.
And of course...now, instead of fighting over Cooper's bunk beds, both boys want to sleep in the race car bed.
They are just too cute together.
I love that they want to be together!!
even if Beckett yells "no no no!!!" at Coop getting in bed :)

The pictures are great! I hope that Jacob and his new brother want to be together - I love it! The new bed is pretty cool, I must say!
